Our organic rosemary CO2 total extract for drinks comes from the needle-shaped leaves of the plant Rosmarinus officinalis, grown in organic plantings in Bulgaria. Extraction takes place with supercritical carbon dioxide, whose mobile phase is lost as the pressure drops, so the leaf concentrate emerges without a foreign agent. For this reason, residual solvents are not detected at all in the total fraction. On the leaf surface there are hairs of two glandular types, peltate and capitate, alongside the ordinary non-glandular hairs. The part used comprises the leaves of the evergreen shrub in their entirety. The organic farm excludes synthetic fertilisers and agents against weeds in the fields. The spicy herbal direction defines the odour character of the liquid fraction. The odour strength covers the high intensive and strong level, as total extraction carries out the light terpenes and the heavier resinous substances from the leaf tissue at once. The liquid state persists under normal warehouse storage in a closed container. The colour picture ranges between dark greenish and brownish.
